Both air suspension blower and magnetic suspension blower are universal equipment, and they are single-stage high-speed centrifugal blower. Compared with other types of blowers, these two types of blowers have obvious energy-saving effects and are more convenient to operate during installation and maintenance. So today, let's talk about the main differences between magnetic suspension blowers and air suspension blowers.
1、 Core accessories - different bearings used
Magnetic suspension blower and air suspension blower are similar in main structure, but they use different bearings, one is magnetic suspension bearing, the other is air suspension bearing, and there are great differences between them.
The magnetic suspension bearing is used to make the bearing in the suspension state through the electromagnetic effect, and then rotate it to truly realize the friction-free start. The bearing suspension principle of the air suspension blower is that under the high-speed rotation of the blower rotor, the air will produce a vivid pressure effect between the rotor and the foil bearing surface, forming a high-pressure gas film to support the bearing. During the suspension of the bearing, there will be a low-speed dry friction process.
2、 In terms of both prices
With the same motor power, the price of the air suspension blower and the magnetic suspension blower is higher, and the price of the air suspension blower is relatively lower. The main reason is that the magnetic suspension blower has more advanced structural performance, higher technical content, less loss and longer service life when the equipment is started.
3、 Difference in service life
Due to the use of external dynamic pressure air, the main shaft of the air suspension fan has a dry friction problem at a low speed, and it needs friction bearings when starting and stopping, so it cannot be started and stopped frequently. The magnetic suspension bearing uses magnetic suspension to support the load. The rotating shaft can be suspended and move relative. Through a series of precise control systems and sensors, the friction or wear of the main shaft can be avoided. Therefore, there are great differences in the service life of bearings. Generally, the service life of air suspension bearings is generally 5-10 years, while the service life of magnetic suspension bearings is more than 20 years.
4、 Energy saving effect
Because the magnetic suspension blower does not have mechanical friction, and the two have certain parameters overlap in some aspects, in general, the magnetic suspension blower has better energy-saving effect than the air suspension blower. According to the actual application data, the overall efficiency of the magnetic suspension blower is 80%, while that of the air suspension blower is about 75%. According to the calculation, under the same working conditions, a 75KW magnetic levitation blower can save about 32000 kilowatt-hours of electricity compared with the air suspension blower.
